In January 2025, British Columbia recorded 4,221 residential unit sales, a 6.4% increase from January 2024. The average residential price decreased by 1.0% to $949,560, while total sales volume rose by 5.3% to $4 billion. However, unit sales were 12% lower than the ten-year January average. Active listings increased by 27% to 30,896 units. The BCREA suggests that while the start of 2025 shows promise, global uncertainties could impact future rates and market balance.
