Fraser Valley Homebuyers Find Opportunities as Market Cools

The Fraser Valley remains a buyer’s market with a sales-to-active listings ratio of 10%, below the balanced market range of 12-20%. Average days to sell are 52 for detached homes, 41 for condos, and 37 for townhomes. Mortgage tightening is causing delays and higher down payment demands. Benchmark prices fell in November: detached homes to $1,405,500, townhomes to $778,700, and condos to $496,500, all down from last year.
